So when I was in Sweden in December, I was staying with my uncle and aunt. My uncle mentioned that he had lingonberries in the freezer that his daughter had picked at her summer house, and they wanted to make some more jam. Perfect.
I know I have made jam before, but this one is different you don’t cook it. You just stir in the sugar until it has dissolved. And then you get a runny lingon jam. It is traditionally eaten with meatballs as it is slightly tart and sweet. But I have found it works well with plenty of vegetarian meals. The “recipe” was not very precise, but I don’t think it is worth going into greater detail. But it was good.
